GEM Sustainability Services and Consultancy Inc. (GEM), founded in March 2019 and headquartered in Ankara, aim to provide sustainability services to national and international clients and their investments in Turkey and in the wider region. 

Since March 2019, GEM have successfully delivered Environmental and Social (E&S) Impact Assessment (ESIA), independent E&S Due Diligence and Monitoring on behalf of , M&A Advisory Services, Sustainability Reporting in line with GRI Standards/UN SDGs and other E&S consultancy services in a variety of sectors including wind power, solar power, geothermal power, infrastructure (motorway) and chemicals. 

In 2021, GEM finalized the E&S Impact Assessment, Resettlement Action Plan (RAP) and Stakeholder Engagement Plan (SEP) of Ankara-Izmir High Speed Railway (500+ km), which is one of the key transportation projects connecting Ankara- the capital city of Turkey - to Izmir, a tourism hotspot in the Aegean Region and the third largest city by population in Turkey. As a Category A Project, the UK Export Finance (UKEF) disclosed the E&S documentation prepared by GEM in line with the Equator Principles 4 (2020), IFC Performance Standards (2012), OECD Common Approaches (2016) and UKEF Environmental, Social and Human Rights Policy (2016, updated in 2020) through the following link:

In 2019, GEM finalized the Category A ESIA Disclosure Package for Kiyikoy Wind Power Plant (WPP) Capacity Extension Project (100 MW) in line with EBRD Performance Requirements (2014) as disclosed at the Bank and Client websites in Turkish and in English.
